About the founder and her why
Dr. Goodwin has many years of experience in the medical field and is formally trained as a registered nurse with experience in variety of specialties, including nursing education and nursing administration/ management.
When asked why she founded Bess Health Careers Institute, she eloquently stated: “As a compassionate registered nurse with advanced nursing education, I wanted to share my fervent passion for and fondness of the healthcare profession. My goal is to encourage, guide and instruct a new generation of healthcare professionals and inspire a new level of possibilities as they emerge into the medical field.”

A CNA and CMA class combo refers to a combined training program that prepares individuals for careers as both a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
Medical Assistant Training Program

The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely, promptly, and effectively.
